IIT Spring 2009!!!

Hello Hello!
Ladies and gentlemen I apologize for my long absence, I was taking a rather long vacation in China! It was an awesome trip, I got the chance to visit my family and enjoyed lots of good chopstick-licking Chinese food!
Now I'm back at IIT ready for some more work (and ready to exercise a bit due to all the food, but that's another story)!
IIT will soon be starting its 2009 Spring Semester with much enthusiasm and excitement. The faculty at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has been working hard to admit new students this spring as well as reviewing files for future Fall 2009 students.
For those of you who are applying for Fall 2009, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be reviewing your applications as soon as they come in. Make sure you send in your applications and the required files as soon as possible and before the deadline! (Please check the IIT Office of Undergraduate Admissions website for more details: http://www.iit.edu/undergrad_admission/ or contact the Office at 312.567.3025 or email in at admission@iit.edu). Please do not hesitate to call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for any questions or concerns you might have, because the people working there are awesomely cool and will take their time to answer them!
Now as for the weather, I've been hearing lots of concerns about the weather from friends and people that have been coming back to Chicago, so as a new student you might be wondering about the weather as well. I'm sorry to say that Chicago has been receiving quite a lot of snow and chills lately, but hey, not to worry! The weather's got its ups and downs, in other words it's not like super cold all the time. I mean it's easily manageable with an extra layer on or running around the campus playing with snow will work too. Besides, all the buildings are heated, so it's pretty warm inside. I'm telling you this from my own experience, taking into account that I have never experienced temperatures below 0°C (32°F) and I'm doing just fine, Undergraduate Admissions hasn't found me frozen yet.

IIT students, welcome back and new IIT students, you'll do just fine, and welcome too!
I wish everyone a successful semester and I'll keep you posted!
